Biography
I am Full Professor of Entrepreneurship and Organizations at the Department of Business Studies, Aalborg University, Denmark. I have a PhD in Innovation, Knowledge and Economic Dynamics (Aalborg University, 2004) and a MSc in Industrial Economics (Aalborg University, 1999) and was a Visiting Professor at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, United States (2007) and a Visiting Scholar at SCANCOR, Stanford University, Stanford, United States (2010).
My PhD thesis was awarded with the SparNord Foundation Research Award 2004 and I received the Tietgen Gold Medal Research Award 2005 for my post doctoral research and the Tuborg Foundation Business Research Award 2001 for my PhD research. Since 2006, I have been a member of the board of directors of the Danish Research Unit for Industrial Dynamics (DRUID).

- Migration of individuals across geographic, social and corporate space
- Organizational sociology, behavior and ecology
- Effects of tension between adaptation and change in unsettled organizations
